Over the years, I have acquired a collection of typical and obscure instruments and tools in the pursuit of making the sounds I hear in my head, and it is my pleasure to share them with you.

I like to think of the Beeps and Whistles studio as a music “maker space”. While it isn’t your conventional recording studio with control rooms and isolation booths, we can easily record your project. We do, however, see this space as more of a muse. A creative playground, if you will. A place where you can come and spend some time tinkering with instruments and ideas, whether it is using one of our guitars with our amps and effects to find that perfect sound, or tinkering with our Raspberry Pi and Nintendo Wii controllers to make a wild performance and sound combination using Pure Data. I even have a garage stocked full of woodworking and electronics tools to build your own effects pedals or synthesizer modules. Don’t have an electronics background? I do, so let’s talk about your project. Some of this stuff may be easier to accomplish than you think it will, and I am always up for a challenge!

And, as a bonus, everything I have is mobile. Need some of our tools to round out your live show? No prob. Items can be rented, or if you want me to run sound for your show, I can bring them with me for a small fee.
